As You Like It is easily one of my favourite Shakespeare plays, so when I was approached to create an original musical adaption of the piece, I jumped at the opportunity. The beautifully constructed verse of this piece lends itself so easily to the music, I sometimes felt like the melodies were jumping off the page and into my subconsciousness as I read. It was simply my task to note it all down.
